Best quote ever: “Repetition is not a substitution for facts.”
@bettersteps
I admire few people. Thomas sowell is one of these few. I love this guy.
@DrProgNerd
How do you not love and respect this man. I think that his book 'Basic Economics' should be required reading for every graduating high school senior. One of the best books I've ever read.
@OGP4321
I can see why his television presence only declined over the years, he buzz-sawed through the nonsense platitudes that remain in vogue today.
@RogerPSnowden
Relentlessly brilliant. Unafraid to speak the truth.
@vikashkhanna4053
I could listen to Thomas Sowell for hours. (Same with Milton Friedman)
@YTSmokeygaming3
Always the smartest guy in the room
@r2xgaming773
These people are unbelievable. This is 40 years ago and it’s like they’re not even hearing him. I know exactly exactly what he’s driving at.
@glennnielsen8054
What I especially appreciate about Thomas Sowell is that he doesn't speak from mathematical formulas. He speaks from analysis of history and from common sense.
@jparker785
Thomas Sowell has changed my mind in so many ways. 💜
@bobbyandrews763
One of the smartest humans of our era. There should be a Thomas Sowell College, where people study his theories and work.
@nigelransley5050
Absolutely everything Dr Sowell emphasised in this interview applies today. It’s amazing and maddening that people are arguing about the same concepts 44 years later.
@DeeZire
"But you're very busy in public policy." - "That's very different from saying I'm busy in politics." What a masterful answer to an obvious gotcha question.
@renacesar060575
One of the most brilliant minds of modern era
@nomdeguerre7265
The commentator's characterization of Sowell as "intellectual leader of conservatism among American Blacks" was telling of the attitude of the Democrat mainstream narrative, even at that time. Sowell wasn't an "intellectual leader" for "American Blacks". He was, and is, an intellectual leader for human beings.
