Geography literally makes us different even at a genetic level. We are the only species where we refuse to apply the most studied notions of regional variation.

Public geopolitics discussions as I see them today often revolve around territorial control, army forces of states and possibilities of wars. However, very rarely I see the discussion capture such details as water bodies in regions or their elevations and available resources. Even when those topics are being mentioned they are only superficially covered to talk about strategic advantage and even more rarely considered from an logistic and economic perspective. At least economists like Thomas Sowell never fall in this regards.

It's almost as if the anointed don't actually want to preserve diversity. Thank God they have not succeeded in making everyone identical.
